Urfa Biber

Urfa Biber... I have to be honest that I have never heard of this chile from southern Turkey. I can't believe what I was missing.
It's slightly sour, salty and spicy with a hint of smokiness. It has an almost raisin-like sweetness with faint notes of chocolate.
Use Urfa Biber to add a deep chile flavor and heat to any dish. We love it with lamb, chili, stews and roasted vegetables.
